My teaching journey began in China, where I had the opportunity to work at a training center from April 2018 to July 2020. During this time, I taught students aged 3 to 12, developing my skills in engaging young learners and adapting to diverse learning styles. Additionally, I held a part-time position at a local kindergarten in the mornings, which further enriched my experience and understanding of early childhood education. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to renew my visa and residence permit, which led to my return to South Africa. This initial experience in China laid a strong foundation for my teaching career and ignited my passion for education.
